West Coast's first Covid-19 vaccine clinic up and running

Nicole Mathewson Reporter from The Press

The West Coast District Health Board has begun its roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccination programme with the opening of its specialist clinic at Te Nikau Hospital in Greymouth.

The clinic, at the hospital’s community services building, would vaccinate frontline healthcare workers first. and more than 100 had already been vaccinated.

It would set up a clinic in Westport within two weeks and then have two mobile teams vaccinate people in outlying communities and aged residential care communities. The four teams would have about eight people in each.
