When you find a house you love... What do you do next?

Kaitlin Bell from Harcourts Milestone

I LOVE that house!... ahhh what do I do now?

Here are our top tips:
⭐1. Call the agent, ask for all the information they have on the property. If there is anything in the documentation you don’t understand then ask!

⭐2. Do your own research. ie What is flooding like in the area. What are the official boundaries. Are there any developments planned nearby. etc. Is the property structurally sound?(get your OWN building report!)

⭐3. If you have not already, talk to your bank, and or a broker. Don’t assume your current bank will give you the best deal. Did you know we have in-house mortgage professionals ‘Mortgage Express’ that can help?

⭐4. Talk to a solicitor about what you want to do. They will look over the property information BEFORE you make an offer.

Investing in your first property can be a little intimidating, but if you are buying from the right agent 😉 the process should be smooth sailing. ⛵
