New Covid case identified in Wellington

Nicholas Boyack Reporter from Community News

There is a new case of COVID in Wellington.
This new case has been in isolation since being identified as a contact of an existing case in Wellington.
Household contacts are in isolation and have returned negative results. Regional Public Health are assuring the community that there are very few contacts of the new case, and all have been identified and are isolated.
Anyone who is concerned about their health, should seek advice from Healthline.
In the meantime, please continue to wear a mask, wash your hands, scan into every shop, business, venue, bus, train, ferry, plane etc for contact tracing purposes.
Also please STAY HOME when sick and seek a test to rule out COVID. Covid Minister Chris Hipkins has announced there will not be an alert level change at this stage. A follow-up press conference is expected at 5 pm today.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please call your GP or Healthline on 0800 358 5453.
