Kaikōura Hop replaced with 'rolling car show' with everyone in their own bubble

Nicole Mathewson Reporter from The Press

Traditionally, the Kaikōura Hop brings in thousands of car enthusiasts with a penchant for the 1950s and 60s, finishing in the coastal town between Blenheim and Christchurch.

But, under level 2 restrictions, this weekend's event is unable to proceed as usual.

Organiser Doug O'Callahan says despite not being able to hold the hop properly, a “rolling car show” is going ahead.

"We’ve broken down into groups of under 100 people, and we’ve colour tagged them off into different groups. And then we’re going to start them off into different groups during the day, and they can do laps around and bits and pieces like that.”

Bridal Shower Stuff

Ces from Blenheim

Anyone in the group would have stuff we can use for a bridal shower please? Our friend is getting married and we would like to throw her a surprise. Hoping to get as much decorations or paraphernalia we can use for Friday. Thanks in advance😊
