Lots of email invoice scams about
Unfortunately there are a lot of scams about at the moment, including fake Vodafone and Spark bills, presumably because scammers know people will have been using their phones and internet more over the last few weeks.
All these scams can be spotted if you check the email they are sent from.
Also check the account number, for example I received a scam claiming to be Vodafone that looked very similar to the real thing but both the sender's email address, and my 'account number' were fake.
Also there were links to pay up that looked like they went to Vodafone, but hovering over them (without clicking), showed they went off to some dodgy site.
Keep safe everyone. If you need to spend money, spend it on NZ businesses, not scammers.

Poll: Would you use a Picton-Blenheim Saturday bus?
The Marlborough District Council plans to trial a Saturday bus between Picton and Blenheim, in response to feedback from Picton residents wanting to visit the new Blenheim library. It would leave Waikawa Bay at 9am and 1pm, and Blenheim's Seymour St at 10.10am and 2pm.
