My Kind Neighbour nomination

Cassie from Tahuna

Fred White of Tahuna.
The very first time I visited Fred at his home was to deliver an invoice for the farm. He invited me in and approximately 2 hours later I left for home with a warm feeling and with happy tears in my eyes from this very interesting man who gave me a hug bearing happy tears in his eyes too asking me to come back soon and then said 2 words to me which I now have tattooed on my wrist "KEEP TRYING" These 2 words mean so much to myself. Fred has given me so much more than anything material. This man is 87 years old, still mowing his own lawns, still pottering on his farm we share milk on and still telling me to KEEP TRYING. Fred White is my kind neighbor nomination.
