My Kind Neighbour nomination

Irene from Pahurehure

My neighbour Marlene Henderson is an absolute gem. She has a cheerful disposition and is very helpful, kind and caring towards everyone. When I had pets and needed to go away Marlene fed and cared for them. She makes new neighbours feel very welcome. She recently turned 85years old and is very fit and active for her age. She is a keen gardener and has a vegetable garden and is always passing her produce to her neighbours. She is also a Justice of the Peace and never gets tired of helping people. We really appreciate your acts of kindness, Marlene. You make the world a better place!!

( Marlene is on the extreme right in the photo and I am seated next to her)
