Learn to Massage Your Dog ***only 3 spaces remaining****

The Balanced Dog Ltd

We've been teaching local dog parents in Christchurch the basics of dog massage since 2010.

The next workshop is on Sunday 22 March 2020 from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Macfarlane Park Centre, Shirley.

In this half-day workshop, you’ll learn how to give a full body acupressure massage and understand when it’s okay to massage your dog and when it isn’t. You’ll learn how to observe your dog’s movements and be ready to start keeping records from your massage sessions. Diet, supplements and senior dog care are also discussed. Each dog participating receives a free bag of fresh dog treats and owners a resource pack with useful goodies. Afternoon tea, too!

Payment is required at time of booking to reserve your place on the course; completion of a pre-course questionnaire is a requirement for attendance (this will be emailed to you).

***Our workshops are for pet parents; they are not for people intending to trade as a professional canine massage or rehab therapist***

Greeting customers costs nothing

Kay from Papanui

I went to New World Bishopdale this am. Deli dept. the young person just looked at me at the counter, no acknowledgement at all. I asked what I wanted and couldn’t resisting saying, how’s your day going? Staff need training like at Mitre 10. Acknowledge the customer!! Hello, what can I help you with today and smile? Not a lot to ask but younger people seem to lack basic greeting manners. Have you found this? Maybe I’m just expecting too much!!
