POSITION FILLED: SCRAP METAL PROCESS WORKER

McDonald Metals is a family owned and operated scrap metal business based in Panmure, Auckland.

We are looking for a reliable, trust worthy person to assist with scrap metal processing in our yard.

Requirements:
- strong and physically fit as the work is physical
- have good command of English (both written and spoken)
- NZ resident or valid NZ work permit
- able to pass on site drug tests
- works well with others
- can work unsupervised
- work references required

Duties:
- processing scrap metal (training provided)
- using a forklift and other machinery (training provided)
- working with customers to provide a high standard of service
- keeps all areas clean, tidy and organized
- ensuring a safe work environment is maintained at all times

General work hours:
Mon - Fri 7.30am - 5pm
Sat 8am - 1pm

Starting rate: $18 + per hour (depending on skills/experience)
