My Kind Neighbour nomination

Denise from Marewa

Mark Milne from Onekawa did me a kindness I will never forget. I hadn't driven my car for a while and the battery was dead. Pushing the car out of the garage isn't an option as the space is narrow and there isn't room to turn the car once out. Mark came to my home and got the car started for me so I could get the car out and park it in a better location in case I couldn't start it again before getting a new battery.

I have been out of work since December so can't afford costly callouts. It was very generous of him to come and help me. While I can do a lot of things for myself, car stuff is not one of them.
