Seeking Administrator Assistant

St Columba Presbyterian Church

St Columba is a vibrant Church of believers with a strong sense of community.
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated Administrator Assistant who will deliver outstanding customer service to all visitors entering our Church office.
Permanent Part-time: 8:30am - 11:30am Monday to Friday, Sundays 8:00am-12:00pm (with an emphasis on flexibility)
Duties are varied and will include, but not limited to:
• Being the first point of contact for staff, members and visitors
• Efficiently answering and transferring phone calls or taking  messages
• Managing the Church Website, App and Facebook
• General office and administration duties
To do the job well you will need:
• Proven work experience as an administrator and receptionist
• Advanced computer skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate a range of information and ideas
• A high level of personal presentation
• Proven ability to work and deliver under pressure
• A high level of loyalty, discretion and respect for the people and community we serve
• Have a 'can do' attitude
• To be flexible, able to prioritise, multitask and word under pressure
• Experience in working with people from all walks of life an advantage
• Have NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa
Start date: 1 October 2019 (negotiable)
Salary: according to skill level and experience
