National Volunteer Week
We'd like to say a huge thanks to our awesome patrol volunteers who give up their time to help patrol the streets of Tawa (and sometimes beyond!).
National Volunteer Week celebrates the collective contribution of the 1.2 million volunteers who enrich Aotearoa New Zealand.
National Volunteer Week 2019 runs from June 16-22. This year’s theme is “Whiria te tangata – weaving the people together”. Volunteering, Mahi Aroha and social action weave people and communities together.
Join us this National Volunteer Week to stand together in our differences and choose to connect.
If you'd like to join us as a volunteer patroller (or know anyone who does), feel free to get in touch today! More info at www.tawacp.org.nz...
Lest we forget...
On this ANZAC Day, let's take a moment to remember and honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country.
Tell us who are you honouring today. Whether it's a story from the battlefield or a memory of a family member who fought in the war, we'd love you to share your stories below.
