Bikes for Refugees
Do you have a bike sitting unused? The Red Cross would love to take it off your hands and to give it to a refugee in Invercargill to help them settle in New Zealand.
Bring your bike to St Margaret's Church, cnr Ross and McBride Streets Frankton on Friday 14th June, between 3 and 5pm; or on Saturday 15th between 10am and 4pm. It will make a real difference in the lives of others as they settle into life in New Zealand.
Poll: Does the building consent process need to change?
We definitely need homes that are fit to live in but there are often frustrations when it comes to getting consent to modify your own home.
Do you think changes need made to the current process for building consent? Share your thoughts below.
