Search for missing tramper near Ashburton Lakes continues

Police continue to search for missing Canterbury man Timothy Clements after he never returned from tramping in the Ashburton Lakes.

A police spokeswoman said six LandSAR volunteers and a LandSAR dog stayed the night in the bush to keep searching. A total of 28 LandSAR staff will search on Thursday, along with two dogs and a helicopter.
