Taihape Gumboot Day Family Festival
Gumboot Day is a truly family fun day, a unique event started in 1985, it's right in the heart of New Zealand’s rural country side. Gumboot Day is Taihape show casing what we do well! Throwing the gumboot is only half the excitement. All ages are encouraged to enter and this year we're hosting the Boot Throwing World Championships which are being organised by the New Zealand Boot Throwing Association (NZBTA)! Not to be Missed……..Yes gumboot throwing IS a sport!
