SPEEDWAY- THE NEXT GENERATION!

Jo from Point Chevalier

Hi there,
As most of you probably know, there has been a lot happening in the Auckland Speedway scene in the last few days and debate still is going on whether the future of Auckland Speedway is on the right track (see what I did there?) While these decisions are being contemplated in conference rooms by "old people", there are some kids who are desperately trying to get into the sport.

I would like to introduce you to my son, 10 year old Alex Twiname, a young man with a dream. (This photo is of him having a go in a club car). He is saving all his pocket money and raising funds to go speedway racing. He even has his little sister helping him, (self-appointed manager, she has a bum-bag) out selling cookies every weekend, and has a Pledge Me page set up.

I wonder if we can get his message out to the Neighbourly Family and get some pledges happening?! No amount too small!!

If you want to see what the real future of Auckland Speedway is all about, it is right here with kids like Alex, and you can be a part of it!

Here is his Pledge Me page

www.pledgeme.co.nz...

Thanks so much for reading!
Cheers,
Jo

Idiot owner of a black VW Golf

Rebecca from Point Chevalier

To the owner of the child that drives a black VW golf registration plate either LUY601 or IUY601 PLEASE remind the idiot that the road through fowlds Park is NOT a race track. There are dogs, children and people I was crossing over from the park to the other side and my dog and I were nearly bowled. That thing was not stopping. And it had a passenger. Traveling at least 60km.
