Phishing scam emails and fake phone calls

Heather from Cando Technology Ltd T/A The Computer Place

Just a heads up.
There has currently been an increase in spam emails looking to obtain your bank login details by asking you to verify them
They appear to have been from most of the banks ie Westpac, kiwibank, Anz , ASB etc.
Remember no bank will send you an email wanting you to verify your details.
Delete these emails.
If they have managed to fool you contact your bank immediately.

Also a reminder to look out for the fake phone call telling you that you have computer issues.
They will say they are from Microsoft, Spark, Vodaphone etc.
Tell them you don’t have a computer or just hang up the phone.
