Pretty in pink?

Adam from

I remember in the 1980s when apricot (or pink) was in vogue . My, how fashion changes! (Although I did have one client ask me to paint her door frames in apricot a while back !) The staff at Resene tell me that plain white is no longer their most popular colour - all the off whites have taken over ! Here's a "before and after' pic of a paint job I did just after Christmas in Chartwell, repainting a rental property from apricot to pearl lusta, a light yellow colour. My client was thrilled with the difference. Let me know if you'd like me to paint over your "out of fashion" colours... :)

What's your favourite piece of Waikato history?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Car parks inspired a milking shed design that took off around the world and became a piece of Waikato District history.

A hundred-year-old church and gravestones from the 1880s will also feature as the district turns the spotlight on its past for its first Heritage Day on April 20.
