How can we help you?

Can elected officials join Neighbourly?

Elected officials are welcome to join Neighbourly by creating a personal profile in their neighbourhood.

Any elected official seeking re-election in the 2017 General Election can post in the Vote 2017 group for their electorate to share information about their campaign. Any campaigning should take place in the Vote Group and not on the general noticeboard.

Neighbourly also offers elected officials the option of creating an additional Organisation profile to connect with those in their electorate. This profile allows the official to be identified as an MP or Councillor when posting community updates and addressing community issues, however this profile should not be used to campaign in the lead up to the General Election.
