What is Foot It?
It’s a national movement! New Zealanders have embraced the call to make our streets safer so we can get out of our cars and scoot, cycle or walk to school with our kids.
You’ve come back to us with lots of ideas about how our communities can work together to make a difference - everything from lower speed limits to walking school buses. Now, Neighbourly, the Sunday Star-Times and Micro Scooters are offering you the opportunity to walk the talk.
We’re all busy - but most of us can find ONE day a week when we can scoot or walk with our kids to school. So make the pledge!
Join one of our Foot It clubs - the Monday Club, Tuesday Club, Wednesday Club, Thursday Club or Friday Club - and you’ll go into the draw to win one of 50 Micro scooters, valued at up to $179.95 each.
Plus, we’ll send you the odd reminder the night before, with some great tips about making your trip to school fun - and safe - and you’ll have a chance to compare notes with other members of your club around your neighbourhood and around New Zealand.
Take the pledge now.
What's up for grabs?
You can win one of 50 Micro scooters from our friends at Micro Scooters! Make sure you take the pledge before Sunday 11 December 2016 to be in with a chance to win!
