Information Evening

MBSR helps with living more in the present moment and enables you to develop skills for focus and self-regulation and coping with stress and anxiety.

We are delighted to host an information evening on MBSR (the original mindfulness techniques taught by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn in the 1970’s) with Eve Rudkin, a certified practitioner of MBSR.

Eve has practiced mindfulness for seven years and studied psychology to honours level, with a particular focus on mindfulness. Her research into mindfulness was published in the academic journal “Mindfulness.” She has trained to teach mindfulness with MTI over a two-year period. This training is endorsed by the leading centre of MBSR teaching at the University of Massachusetts, USA. Eve is committed to excellence in her teaching and takes part in ongoing professional development and supervision from a mental health professional.

When: Tuesday 29th June 6.30pm (1 hour long, plus some time for Q&A)
