Scarecrows Big Day Out 2018

The Gladstone Scarecrows are back!

Come and be a part of the scarecrow fun on November 3rd! Check out the scarecrows on scarecrow drive, then visit the famous Gladstone School Scarecrow Fair. The perfect day out for the whole family.

Scarecrow Fair:
Visit the Scarecrow Fair at Gladstone School between 9.30 and 2pm. Check out a range of local produce, quality craft stalls, 100’s of homegrown plants, family entertainment; jump on a fair ride, indulge in the gorgeous local food, then grab yourself a bargain at the mid-day monster auction!

Scarecrow Drive:
Collect your Scarecrow map from the Wairarapa Times Age or from isites, or www.gladstone1.school.nz, and drive your way around the scarecrows.

Scarecrow competition
Fancy 6 weeks of free advertising and a great bit of team building for your business, organisation? The scarecrow competition is open not only to the Gladstone District but also to schools, kindys, businesses, organisations, and families that would like to make scarecrows to display in the district or at Gladstone School.

There are fantastic prizes up for grabs! This years theme is ' The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". So start thinking cartoons, politicians, hollywood stars, animals and wildlife the list goes on!
