Auckland

Take on a dare in 2019 and skydive for our cause. We’re looking for thrill seekers and those who want to conquer their fear of heights to become fundraising heroes by doing a sponsored tandem skydive. This year we’re making it bigger and better with New Zealand’s highest skydive from 20,000 feet. The monies raised will enable us to continue to provide counselling to those who need it most and yet often least able to afford it.

For many people, the bravest step they will ever take in their life is the one toward asking for help. For others, the bravest step they will ever take is the jump from a perfectly good aeroplane.

Right now, 1 in 5 New Zealanders are living with mental illness and/or addiction. Counselling helps people to deal with their feelings and responses, solve problems and create positive change in their lives.

Jumping from a perfectly good aeroplane does take a great deal of courage. By pledging to do a sponsored skydive you can raise money to provide free counselling sessions for couples, families and individuals. This is your opportunity to experience the thrill of a tandem skydive while supporting families. You can sign up here to start fundraising - the minimum fundraising target is $995 and you will experience New Zealand’s highest skydive from 20,000 feet for FREE. Find out more here https://homeandfamily.org.nz/fundraising-events/

Bonus: The person who raises the most money will also receive a free photo and video package of their experience valued at $189.00. This will be decided by the fundraising amounts raised by each registered jumper at 4.00 pm on Thursday 11 April 2019.

When: 9.00 am, Saturday 13 April 2019. Parakai Aerodrome, 76 Green Road, Parakai.

FREE PICKUP: We can arrange a free pick up from Auckland City to drive you to Parakai Aerodrome (and return).
