Oxygen Consulting re-validates Carbon Efficient and Carbon Neutral annually, to ensure your organisation is supported to achieve credible, demonstrable progress.
Clients who go through our Carbon Neutral programme achieve everything included in Carbon Efficient and also choose to offset their residual emissions with the purchase of carbon credits.
Oxygen Consulting offers clients two types of offsets - native New Zealand forestry regeneration credits (these are NZUs certified under the New Zealand ETS) and certified Gold Standard verified emissions reductions (VERs), which come from high quality emissions reduction projects verified by the Gold Standard Foundation (Geneva, Switzerland).
Native New Zealand forestry regeneration projects include Flax Hills, Kaikoura; Banks Peninsula, Canterbury; and Mason Hills Canterbury. Gold Standard verified emissions reductions include include domestic and international projects in Energy efficiency, PV, biogas, wind, biogas, geothermal, hydro, and forestry.
Our native New Zealand forestry credits are sourced by Forever Forests and our Gold Standard VERs are sourced by Carbon Market Solutions. Clients can choose the vintage and geographical mix they are interested in to make a meaningful impact while also offsetting their emissions.
