My wife Belinda and I bought this business as a lifestyle choice. We have two boys and spend a lot of time watching their sports and doing family things together. I had been working for other people in the aluminium industry for 30 years doing all aspects of the joinery side, to production and of course maintenance and decided why do it for other people when I have this opportunity to do it for ourselves.

Whilst on holiday, we were trout fishing, thought I had the big one, turned out I had literally hooked a small round rock. (Which I kept). Very disappointed but it was funny.
What do you enjoy about being a Franchise Owner?
I like being able to solve peoples maintenance problems especially the ones that require a bit of expertise to remedy. No two days are the same and you get to meet some really neat and interesting people, and go to some spectacular locations to fix problems.
