Wellington & Hutt Valley Bus Drivers

Right now we are looking for people who are keen to work out of our 5 depots through the Hutt Valley and Wellington region.  We are looking for people who want full time work and enjoy meeting people.

• Our wages are $30.00 an hour on the driving roster ($23.65 per hour when in training)
• Opportunity to drive double deckers - and electric ones too!

We are looking for experienced bus drivers, as well as people new to the industry.

If you are new to the industry, don't worry as we can train you.  You just need to be willing to commit to a regular rotating roster (once you have finished training and are ready to drive solo) and work with our training team to learn all about the industry and driving buses.

Yes, our full time jobs have split shifts because of the nature of the job with peak runs morning and night. Many of our team actually enjoy split shifts; they can get chores done or catch up with friends. Some study in between shifts.  Only 19% of our shifts are split shifts.

You may have heard that all bus drivers work a 14 hour day, every day. That's not right at Tranzurban. Our longest shift is 12 hours and 18 minutes and you would only work that shift occasionally.

We pay a flat rate of $30 per hour for trained drivers and full time work = a guaranteed 80 hour fortnight.
