It’s never too late to talk

Here in Nelson, we have really been through a tuff time in the last few weeks and more than ever we need to support each other. At Life Linc we have been helping people to talk through their worries and concerns for nearly 50 years. At times like this, we are here for you.

At Life Linc, we work at the heart of our community by offering individuals and couples a safe and supportive place to come and look at the challenges and strengthen wellbeing. We give them tools to deal with difficult situations and an opportunity to develop their life skills. When individuals and families are stronger, so is the community we all love.

We are committed to our counselling services being open to everyone and welcome those from different cultures, socio-economic backgrounds, young, old and all those who never knew they could access this invaluable service.

We are seeing an increase in people reaching out to access counselling for the very first time as COVID continues to impact on our daily lives.

We have a dedicated team of 13 committed volunteer counsellors, managed by two amazing staff members. However, our ongoing challenge is funding. We do not receive government grants and are asking for your generosity to help us continue to meet this vital community need.
