About Us
Welcome to Avonhead Primary School. We are a full-primary school catering for children from 5 years of age up to 13 years (Year 1 – Year 8). We have large, attractive grounds, modern teaching spaces, committed staff and delightful students who are focussed on real quality learning.
We have a great collective vision for the school and we will be working hard to achieve this over the next few years. Our approach will be encouraging and developing a sense of inquiry in learning; encouraging innovation; providing on-going improvement; risk-taking and entrepreneurship.
We will continue to promote high standards and will be helping children to become thinkers and learners for life. We are also getting up-to-speed with ICT to help us unlock the potential of technology to develop quality learning.
