Our kindergartens provide a safe and welcoming environment where your child:

All of our kindergartens feature large outdoor and indoor environments, providing a variety of spaces and resources for your child to explore and discover.
Our community and the cultural background of our families is important and you will see this reflected in the learning environment. This makes each kindergarten unique and welcoming.
Session times and term dates
18 of our kindergartens are open 5 days a week – Monday to Friday 8.30am to 2.30pm (Arakura Kindergarten is open 8.45am to 2.45pm). They run in term blocks, with holidays closely matching those of primary schools.
Boulcott, Koraunui and Parkway Kindergartens are open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 2.30pm, for 50 weeks of the year.
Nettie Riley Kindergarten in Epuni, is open Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm, for 50 weeks of the year.
Holiday Kindergarten
We offer a Holiday Kindergarten during the term breaks which is open to all families enrolled with Hutt City Kindergartens. The locations for Holiday Kindergarten vary each term break and these are advertised at the beginning of each term. Early enrollment for Holiday Kindergarten is essential as spaces are limited.
