We focus our efforts on improving the lives and environment of the incredibly varied community that calls the city centre home.

Whether you want to share your opinions on the ever changing city, to ask questions about the targeted rate, meet with other residents, get involved in engaging with our Local Board, Council and other agencies that effect us, or just to keep up to date with goings-on, this is where you can take action.

Our members are what drives us & gives residents a voice. You can help us make a difference.

About the City Centre Residents’ Group

CCRG is managed according to its Rules by an annually elected committee that meets monthly.

General meetings are held monthly and are open to all members, and interested people in general.

Membership (from 3 July 2023 AGM)

We have FOUR options for Membership, based on location - please see the Membership Map below.

Full Individual Membership

Open to anyone who lives within the boundaries of the Auckland City Centre, either as a tenant or an owner. Can vote on all matters. Annual fee - $25

Associate Membership

Open to K Rd residents outside the City Centre Area but within the K Rd Business Improvement district. Can vote on all matters with the exception of those relating to the City Centre Targeted Rate. Annual Fee $25

Affiliate Membership

Open to any person or group located within the Auckland Council area who wishes to support CCRG objectives. Annual Fee $50

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

Open to students living within the boundaries of the Auckland City Centre, either as a tenant or an owner. Can vote on all matters.

Annual fee - $10

Membership Map

Residents inside the motorway noose or ring road red area are eligible for Full Individual Memberships. Residents within the blue area are eligible for Associate Memberships. Persons or groups outside of these two areas, but within the boundaries of Auckland Council are eligible for Affiliate Memberships.
