Tutors Wanted

Makers of Things, DIY Masters, Sustanibility Legends - We need YOU!

A call out to all you creative people out there: Riverside Education is once more looking for workshop tutors. If you have a skill to share, please don't be shy!

Riverside Education is run by Riverside Community Trust, a registered Charity seeking to provide AFFORDABLE learning opportunities to everyone. Our goal is to spread the wisdom, skills and talents gathered in our region and to offer a platform for sharing, exchanging and passing on crafts and practical know-how for making everyday life more sustainable and innovative.

Right now, we are particularly looking for someone who can teach children wood carving, video editing or has fun up-cycling ideas. Other popular topics for both adults and children are: basket weaving, mindfulness and natural care of animals. Anything which allows us to go back to basics is also most welcome. Or what about a culinary skill or tales from other culture, allowing for some in-depth exploration of different backgrounds? Whatever it is; if you think other people (young or old) could benefit from it, please get in touch with Tanja to discuss how you can become a part of our awesome programme.

Now more than ever is a time to come together, spread knowledge locally, support and encourage one another to become familiar with the world around us. Be part of the change and support other locals on their journey of discovering old crafts, new skills and sustainable choices.

While being a tutor for our Education Programme won't make you rich, you will be paid, supported and highly appreciated as part of a charity offering affordable learning opportunities for everyone.

Please contact Tanja: education@riverside.org.nz for all questions or if you want to get involved.
