Tagging/Graffiti Removal

Recreational Services work in the community on behalf of Auckland Council to remove tagging and graffiti, whether it be on public assets like bus shelters, or commercial buildings or even residential fences.
There are often hot spots like Maungauika/North Head and currently Bayswater Avenue, Bayswater.

If you spot any tags or graffiti in your neighbourhood, you can contact Recreational Services direct.
Text or email Mandy Hoskin; 021 875 095 or mandyh@rs.kiwi.nz, with a photo of the graffiti, at enough of a distance so they can identify the asset (or two photos, close up and distance), with a nearest street address.

Theatre & Film

Shakespeare's Twelfth Night - Takapuna Grammar School

Takapuna Grammar Performing Arts is performing an outdoor Shakespeare at the end of February.

"It’s our version of Twelfth Night - “if music be the food of love...” you know the one.
And we’re taking liberties with it. We want laughs, even cheap ones, pace and “lively action” – tiktok- worthy gags is a given. The author doesn’t mind.
Our students enjoy transforming the bard and speaking his fabulous language. It’s also an opportunity for talented musos to compose settings for the songs and incidental music serving up the food of love. "

Watch the school’s e-board on Lake Rd for details.
