Hōtoke/Winter Fun Tamariki Play!


When: Tuesdays 9:30am - 11:30am
Where: Bayswater School Hall, Roberts Ave, Bayswater
Cost: Free

Tamariki Play is a wonderful opportunity for your little ones (0-5) to play with big toys, be active and make new friends!
Now at a NEW venue - the Bayswater School hall which has plenty of space to spread out.
Every Tuesday morning including the school holidays.  
These FREE, casual attendance sessions are the perfect way to keep little ones active and socialised during the cold & wet months, as well as being a great opportunity for parents to have a hot drink and chat. 
Caregiver supervision is required, parking available.

Devonport Market is on the first Saturday of each month and returns to the iconic Devonport Ferry Terminal on the 4th of June.

The Devonport Toy Library is open every Saturday morning 9-11am at the Devonport Community House - hundreds of toys for 6 months to 6 years. Come for a play on Saturday, and explore the toys - great for wet weekend mornings!

A Night of Vegan Recipes and Cook Books

Where: Stanley Bay Club, 20 Stanley Point Road

BookMark, the Quality Secondhand and Rare Books Shop in Devonport, will display some of their interesting cook books.

Have a glass of wine, taste the delicious array of Vegan recipes, share ideas and shopping tips then browse the books.

2 Day Messy Church School Holiday Programme


When: July 21st & 22nd, 8.30am - 5pm

Cost: $45.00 per child if booked by 30th June otherwise $60 per child

2 Day Messy Church Primary School Holiday Programme. Thursday 21st & Friday 22nd July. 8.30am - 5pm. Book before 30th June at a special rate of $45 per child. Bookings are limited. Morning and afternoon tea provided, but bring a packed lunch. Children can attend morning sessions only (same price) Children aged 4 are welcome with a caregiver but registration still required. Themed around the movie 'UP' and following the Messy Church format this promises to be interactive and entertaining.

"Hit the Stage" Holiday Programme

A 5-Day holiday escape for children and tweens.

Under the direction of the Tim Bray Youth Theatre creative team, students will have the opportunity to explore their performance skills, build confidence, and create a unique piece of theatre, ready to ‘Hit the Stage!’ at the end of the week with a free entry performance for family and friends.

National Youth Theatre's AllStars Musical Theatre Holiday programme 'Back to the Future'

 

When: 19th - 23rd July

Where: The Rose Centre, 4 School Road, Belmont
Cost: $320.00 per student

"Back to the Future" is the theme for this July AllStars musical theatre holiday programme. Science fiction, time travel hijinks and adventures are the order of the week. With songs, dances, jokes, skits and poems from across the decades it is sure to be a lot of crazy fun! This course at The Rose Centre  runs Tuesday 19th July to Friday 22nd July (9am - 4pm), with performances on Saturday the 23rd July at 3pm and 5.30pm (cast drop off at 2:00pm).

- Multisport Holiday Programme (4-16 years old) 9am - 12.30pm every weekday, RAIN OR SHINE thanks to the Junior clubhouse with all sanitised equipment provided. 

- Holiday Programme Tennis Academy (10-18 years old), 2 - 5pm Wednesday to Friday.
 

Term 3 Coaching starts Monday 25 July till Saturday 24 September (nine weeks), with week of 26 September reserved for rain make-ups.

All players welcome across all ages (from 3 years old up) and tennis levels. Sanitised fitting equipment provided.

Ngataringa Organic Garden (NOG) 


Ngataringa Organic Garden is a community garden located in the heart of Devonport, at 27 Lake Rd, Devonport (opposite the Recycling Centre). 
NOG is an organic garden, operated on a plot allotment system, with plot custodians responsible for the care of their plot and the garden as a whole. The NOG Committee overseas the running of the garden, and organises regular working bees, social events, and workshops.
