This quarterly meeting is about promoting networking among residents and local community groups. The session commences with complimentary morning tea and a chance to network informally followed by guest speaker Giovanni Coco from the School of Environment at Auckland University: You may have heard recently about coastal buildings in New Zealand becoming uninsurable over the next few decades due to climate change. Giovanni will be talking to us about the type of work they do to predict flooding under climatic changes for the whole of New Zealand and then look at the implications for Devonport.
