How to paint glass swirled jars

Create with paint! Projects from habitat by Resene

DIY – upcycling old glass jars

Paint your recycled jars

What to do with old glass jars? There’s something about the beauty of empty glass jars that makes it hard to just put them into the recycling bin. If you’ve been holding onto a few hoping for an inspiring project, you’ll love this super easy idea.

You will need: Empty and cleaned out glass jars, Resene testpots in your choice of colours: we used Resene Wax Flower and Resene Trade Wind.

Top tip: You could also upcycle old tins by painting the outside and adding washi tape for a decorative touch.
