Please can NZ’s have a helping hand for the next two months with all weighed fruit and vege at the supermarket costing only $1 or so per kg.

The supermarkets are pretty much the only place open and they can help us to keep well by ensuring a cheap price that all New Zealanders can afford. 

Obviously we don’t want to take away profits from the growers but please any reduction would be appreciated while we go into winter months.
Families can try out new foods that they may not have been able to afford usually.  We can teach children about cooking these new foods while we are in lock down. They can have fun trying out these new foods. Rainbow of colour is what’s needed now.  We can ensure that we are fighting fit to fight covid also by having more fruit and vege in our bodies. 

We need to be healthy coming into the flu season so any way that we can get more fruit and vege into families has to be a good thing right.  Don’t you want your family to be fighting fit?
