Please help me get to my son to help and support him

My son lives in Amsterdam last 7 yrs. He is suffering some major health issues and has recently been put of work indefinitely.
I have never left NZ due to fear of heights and flying. 3 yrs ago I was diagnosed with a heart condition I was born with but never picked up due to being physically healthy no issues even though my heart is the wrong way round now have pacemaker etc...
At 58 I need to suck it up and get on a plane to be with my son, I have just received my passport.
I am asking if anyone out there can help me with buying tickets to get to Amsterdam will be going for a month I'm looking to be able to leave beginning of August which will give me time to organise my other children and sort few things out.
I know there are more worthy causes out there than mine.
As frightening it is for me to get on a plane I need to be there for my eldest son to help with his recovery and support him through this time.
