With the COVID-19 situation developing and a large number of people vulnerable in our community and in Lock Down it is important we become connected online so that we can support each other through this difficult time.

Currently we are at Level 4: Lock Down

- people instructed to stay at home
- educational facilities closed
- businesses closed except for essential services (eg supermarkets, pharmacies, clinics) and lifeline utilities
- travel severely limited

It is important we reach out to our neighbours to check in on them and make sure they are ok and see if there is anything which can be done to assist.

In order to effectively do this - we need someone in each street to be a Street-Captain to connect with people in their street.

This role will be to:

- be the point of contact for anyone who might need assistance.
- help communicate any key messages to your street through electronic means. This might be through a WhatsApp group or a FB group or email chain.
