From 8-28 October, Bakers Delight customers will have the opportunity to directly support thousands of Kiwi kids in need just by purchasing a delicious Fun Bun.
For the first time, 100% of sales from every Fun Bun or Fun Bun 4-pack will be donated to our charity partner KidsCan. This is our third year working with KidsCan to raise funds and awareness for the amazing work they do.
KidsCan provides children affected by poverty the essentials such as food, socks, raincoats and hygiene products. These items help ensure kids are in the best position to attend school and participate in learning.
Over the past two years, Bakers Delight Franchisees and customers have raised over $80,000 for KidsCan, helping to give 46,000 kids nutritious food, sturdy shoes and cosy raincoats.
COVID-19 has resulted in higher demand for KidsCan services and they are currently feeding 10,000 more children a day than in 2019. In addition, the cancellation of many fundraising events for KidsCan means this year’s Bakers Delight fundraiser has never been more important. That is why this year we are aiming to raise $50,000!
