Luane Brauner was born near Berlin and started to draw and paint as a child.

In her thirties she began to exhibit. Within 5 year’s she became quite well known and was selling landscapes as well as portraits and animals paintings.

In 2000 Luane took the risk of quitting her job, as the person in charge for forest and hunting at the council Nauen, to become a self-employed artist and gave workshops.

In 2007 Luane moved to New Zealand and for Immigration purpose studied art and creativity. As a certified artist she lives and works in Golden Bay.
