Stage one construction starts Monday night 21 August

Stage one includes footpath work along Tamaki Dr south and Ngapipi Rd east and will take approximately two months.

From Monday you will see work crew set up for traffic management and putting in temporary barrier placement.

During construction, all existing traffic movements at the intersection will be maintained for peak traffic. A safe footpath will also be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists to use at all times.

As a live construction site, the speed limit will be reduced to 30km/h and traffic delays can be expected. Please approach the intersection with care.

Night works Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 August

We will, weather permitting, remove the traffic island at the intersection to create room for realignment of the traffic lanes. During this time traffic will be managed by Stop-Go operation.

There will be some noise and truck movement associated with this work and we do apologise for any disruption this may cause.

On these nights, work will commence from 7pm to 5am.
