“I started in 2013 as a Production Draughtsman back when there was just a handful of us. I then moved into Technical Sales, then 2IC of the Design team and currently I’m the Research and Development Manager. I also went away to Canada for 18 months in that time, and still came back! I’ve learnt ridiculous amounts here, in all different areas. I enjoy the support that you get working here, both personally and professionally. And the work perks are great too—Beervana, Christmas party, BBQs—there is a culture of togetherness.”

“After 15 years I still don’t think there’s any morning when I get up and think “ugh, got to go to work”. No two days are really the same. Real Steel is a great place to work, they value staff input. I’ve had a variety of roles and I’m now working as WearParts Supervisor in the factory. Real Steel has put me through my HT, EWP, Height Safety, Confined Spaces, many first aid courses, and now supervisor training. As a company they are happy to spend time and money training you.
