Rose's Place Early Learning Centre

Rose's Place Early Learning Centre is a small, family-owned, home-based centre in Brooklyn. We are an all day centre open 49 weeks of the year.
Our unique bush-covered location means that the children can explore outside in a natural environment but it is still handy to the CBD.
Rose is a fully qualified early childhood teacher. I am also trained in First Aid and in Food Safety. Our program is tailored to your child's needs and provides a strong foundation for literacy and numeracy. We have lived in Brooklyn for over twenty years and have operated Rose's Place as a family business for over 5 years.
We provide cooked lunches and some clothing including cloth nappies, sunhats, raincoats and wool beanies.
Our philosophy is based on sound knowledge of historical and current education practice and theory. We believe in loving, caring for and respecting our tamariki / children, each other and our environment.
We believe in having open access to the outdoors as well as providing different play areas for the children, including books, paints, playdough, dramatic play, blocks, music, drawing and collage, early science, puzzles, and outdoor play. We believe in children being able to watch and help with real life activities so they help cook, clean, garden and feed the pets. We have 2 dogs and 1 rabbit. We go on frequent outings both locally and further afield.
We have limited vacancies at the moment.
Please phone us to arrange a visit or if you have any further questions.
